CONTEXT

Our sales team —currently led by our CEO— is passionate, knows the market and is committed to our mission: make healthcare accessible and efficient, ensuring every patient enjoys the highest quality of life.

Most of our clients are leading healthcare systems or strategic partners like top pharma or medical device companies. We are scaling our operations across Iberia, the UK, and shortly other markets.

As we expand, our sales team needs a leader with the expertise to guide us through this critical growth phase. **That is why****we’re looking for a Sales Director to take charge, set a solid strategy, and coach our team to hit our ambitious targets for the next years.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Your main goal would be to build a strong foundation for growth. Your journey with us will be marked by key milestones, each designed to integrate you into our team and set you up for success.

Currently, the sales team has four members plus our founders, each handling different areas. You’ll work closely with our CEO to understand who we are, where we are headed, and the challenges we face ahead.

Here's what we expect during your first few months with us:

First Month:

  • Get acquainted: Dive into our current sales processes, tools, pricing models, client status, and overall company strategy. Spend time with each team member to understand their roles, strengths, challenges, and career ambitions.
  • Assess and analyze: Conduct a thorough analysis of our existing sales methodologies, identify gaps, and assess the overall health of our sales pipeline. Familiarize yourself with our inbound leads, partner partnerships, and the dynamics of public and private sector sales.
  • Continue our high-level strategy: understanding where we are in relation to our ambitious growth targets and pinpointing key areas of improvement based on your initial observations.

First Three Months:

  • Strategic planning: Start executing on key areas to hit our OKRs. Sharing your findings with real data, examples, and strong reasoning.
  • Team empowerment: Work and train closely with the team and coach them to ensure everyone understand new potential strategies —refining our pitch, adjusting pricing strategies, enhancing client engagement processes, etc.— that can immediately impact team efficiency and client engagement.

Beyond Three Months:

  • Take full ownership and accountability of the sales strategy: for revenue strategy, pipeline, and results. Lead the team in achieving sales targets, ensuring each member is aligned with our overall growth objectives.
  • Refine and optimize sales processes: create a robust framework for future growth and onboarding.
  • Leadership: Halfway through the year we expect you have earned the trust of the sales team and other departments.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Team Leadership and Development: Leading the current team, getting to know them, understanding their strongest points, weaknesses, and ambitions. Define what’s expected from each team member and coach them to achieve these goals.
  2. Team Growth: Defining hiring needs, executing them, and onboard new team members. Don’t worry. You wouldn’t do that by your own, but with the full support of our People department.
  3. Sales Strategy and Execution: Setting a comprehensive sales plan, including target setting, client persona development, pricing strategy, and tool utilization.
  4. Process Improvement, documentation and scalability:Review and create scalable processes to ensure we can grow efficiently. Establishing a culture of documentation within the team to improve scalability and streamline onboarding processes. Empower the team with the tools, knowledge, and autonomy needed to perform independently.

REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate should have:

  • >3 years of experience managing high-performance enterprise sales and technical sales teams in a B2B SaaS enviroment.
  • A proven track record selling a complex tech product with high ACV >50K, being able to build relationships with CXOs and/or business decision-makers.
  • Experience leading, mentoring and motivating a remote sales team, demonstrating strong and natural leadership.
  • Excellent communicational and listening skills. Someone who can adapt and tailor approaches based on team and client feedback.
  • Experience reporting to C-level leaning on metrics to report, inform ****and create action plans, internal and externally.
  • Fluent communication both in Spanish and English.

EXTRA BALL ✚

  • Healthcare experience is a strong plus, specially, being familiar with the public sector in Spain.
  • Experience with international clients is a plus, as well as leading distributed teams.
