Series A Investment Intern
TheVentureCity
Who we are
TheVentureCity is a global early stage venture platform focused on making the entrepreneurial ecosystem more diverse, grounded in data, and fairly funded. Our team is made up of entrepreneurs, hyper-growth tech company executives, and operators who are committed to supporting founders in their journeys to build sustainable companies through product-led growth.
We invest from pre-seed to series A, through two different investment strategies: (1) seed, and (2) pre/series A. We’ve already raised two funds for the second strategy; the first one was closed in 2018, with $52M, and the second one was closed in 2021, with $72M. We have invested in more than 35 early-stage startups through the funds.
We provide comprehensive support to our portfolio companies from the moment we invest until exit. Our in-house experts, combined with our vast network of over 500 mentors and alumni, ensure our companies have the resources they need to succeed. While we are headquartered in Miami and Madrid, this internship opportunity will be based in Madrid, Spain. The internship is a paid position and will last for six months.
