With more than $145M under management, we invest from pre-seed/seed with a ticket size from $100-500k to Series A with $1-4M. The internship is a paid full time position based in Madrid and will last for six months.
What you will do
This internship will consist of working primarily with the Investment teams within TheVentureCity, which focuses on helping B2B software startups grow globally.
The intern will assist in performing market research to identify new investment trends and opportunities, deal screening (call and/or meet with prospects, evaluate opportunities), documentation (summarize call notes, enter deals into CRM), as well as in preparing investment memos, quarterly LP reports and fundraising materials for launching our new fund.
Who we are looking for
We are looking for an intern that is enthusiastic, confident, builder, fixer, problem solver, optimist at heart that likes to deal with people. The perfect person for this internship will be great at managing their own time, resourceful to look things up when they are stuck, not be afraid to ask for help, flexible, and be proactive.
This person should have basic Excel skills, familiarity with social media platforms, great organizational skills, attention to detail, and an interest in venture capital and startups. We expect deep interest in technology and tech companies. Must speak English. Spanish is a plus.
What we offer
This is a full-time internship, Monday to Friday. Commitment will be 6 months provided that objectives and expectations are met on both sides. Details will be discussed during the interview.
The internship will be paid and will offer the opportunity for course credit in case the university allows it.
