The Opportunity

As our first Product Design hire you will be integral to the success of our product and shaping design at Tiny Health.

What You'll Do

Work through all aspects of design from research, ideation, UX architecture, flows, interactions to wireframes, testing and polished visual design
Define the information architecture of our app and how users flow through it
Rapidly produce concepts and prototypes to test and validate ideas, designing in low or high fidelity as needed
Define the experiences within the end-to-end journey of creating an account, buying a kit, registering it, viewing results and resampling
Translate complex scientific concepts into understandable pieces that engage users and motivate them to act
Develop and implement a design system that allows us to deliver with consistency and speed
Make data-driven decisions that contribute to our key metrics and OKRs

Preferred Qualifications

5+ years of hands on Product Design experience, ideally at a fast-paced, startup environment (past work in direct to consumer web products and/or apps a bonus)
Ability to think through user problems, explore reasonable solutions, draft wireframes/flows in detail, and work with engineers to build them
Excellent communication skills - be able to clearly present and articulate design decisions
Familiarity in using quantitative and qualitative data to identify areas of opportunity for improvement
A portfolio demonstrating research, analysis, and synthesis of product requirements behind each design for both web and mobile apps
Proficiency with industry standard design tools - we use Figma

Nice to Have

Experience with data visualization
Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator

Benefits

Competitive equity compensation structure: we don't have "founders" and "early employees" - only founding team members. As a founding member, you will be granted shares instead of options (on top of other generous benefits)
Healthcare insurance (medical, dental, vision)
401k
Generous PTOs
Remote-First Company: While our founder is based in Austin, TX, we have a really diverse and international team from the midwest, east coast, Europe, and South America. As long as you can work within 3 hours from the 9-6pm CST timezone, it doesn't matter where you live.
Tremendous growth opportunity and autonomy are given, we're a high-growth startup.

About Us & More

Crazy ambitious mission: we're reinventing how we should think about pregnancy and infant wellness, leveraging all the exciting research in the early-life microbiome space. This is an opportunity to have a trajectory-altering impact on humanity
Feels like family: we have a grown-up, thoughtful culture but we love having a playful side and a sense of humor
‍Lots of room to experiment, iterate, and build: we have a huge vision and you'll have the opportunity to grow rapidly and influence the strategic direction of the company (and we have 2+ years of runway to make that happen)
Transparent culture: we do the right thing: by the team, users, stakeholders. When you have complete trust in your teammates, you can be much more open and move faster ;)
