The Business Unit FP&A Specialist will play a key role in financial oversight, planning, and analysis for Recargapy’s business units. This position requires a detail-oriented finance professional with a strong understanding of the Brazilian financial market and a hands-on approach to day-to-day tasks. The Specialist will be responsible for building, maintaining, and reporting financial statements, including the P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations. Additionally, the role involves preparing forecasts and projections to help envision the future performance of the business units. This position is ideal for a proactive and analytical professional who thrives in a fast-paced fintech environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Business Unit Financial Statements: Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to build and maintain monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow) for each business unit. Incorporate unique strategies, initiatives, and internal funding costs to ensure accuracy and alignment with business goals;
- Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and maintain financial forecasts, budgets, and long-term plans for business units. Work closely with the consolidation team and business unit stakeholders to ensure reliable and accurate financial projections;
- Budgeting and Cost Control: Support budgeting processes, track expenses, and identify opportunities to optimize operational costs while maintaining compliance and quality standards;
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions. Continuously challenge performance indicators to improve insights and visualizations for decision-making;
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of timely and accurate financial reports, consolidating data to provide a clear view of business unit performance. Collaborate with the financial consolidation team and senior finance leadership on reporting to investors and stakeholders;
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with business unit leaders and cross-functional teams (operations, sales, and technology) to provide financial insights that support strategic decision-making and ensure financial alignment with operational objectives.
