Harmony is on a mission to transform infant formula, by radically narrowing the gap between formula products and breastmilk.

Breastmilk will always be the gold standard, but for families who need or choose formula, a significant proportion suffer a reaction to the cows milk protein in regular formulations, and allergy-friendly alternatives offer a poor taste profile which can cause rejection by the child.

Harmony is building formula products which reflect the form and function of breastmilk down to the protein level, using human milk proteins created via precision fermentation.

As we navigate the regulatory journey for human protein products, our ‘Gen 1’ formulation - an extensively hydrolyzed drink for children aged 12+ months - solves the palatability issue of other extensively hydrolyzed options.

We're a small, early-stage team building the kind of company we wish existed when we were navigating CMPA in our own children — one that treats not ‘patients’ or ‘customers’ but families, centering all aspects of their allergy journey, and allowing them to get back to the normal parts of family life.

About the Role

This role blends two things that don't often live in one job: hands-on family support and original content creation. Early on, your time will lean toward content — building out the resources, social presence, and educational materials families and healthcare providers rely on. Your customer support workload will then grow as our subscriber base does, with each side of your role informing the other. You'll work closely with our small team and have real influence over how we show up for families navigating CMPA, from the first interactions when an issue is suspected, through the eventual, celebrated moment their child outgrows their allergy or graduates to other dairy alternatives.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as a specialist point of contact for families — across inbound calls and messages.
  • Write and publish long-form educational content for families — guides, articles, and resources grounded in real clinical knowledge and, ideally, real lived experience of this journey.
  • Author social media content that reflects our brand's voice: warm, honest, and genuinely useful rather than salesy — helping build a community, not just a following.
  • Contribute clinical perspective to physician-facing materials, including documentation that supports families pursuing insurance or FSA/HSA reimbursement.
  • Represent Harmony via webinars, or at relevant industry, community or parent events, virtual or in-person.

What We're Looking For

The single most important qualification for this role is direct experience with families navigating a reaction to cow's milk protein in babies or young children — ideally gained in a clinical setting (pediatric allergy, GI, or a related practice). We'd also be glad to hear from candidates whose experience with CMPA is personal — navigating a diagnosis with your own child — provided that's paired with genuine clinical Registered Dietitian experience. What we're looking for either way is someone with direct experience with this specific situation. We are open to people returning to work following a career break, so long as their credentials are in good standing.

  • Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential in good standing, with the appropriate state licensure for remote practice.
  • Direct experience — clinical and/or personal, as described above — with cow's milk protein allergy or similar food-protein sensitivities in infants and young children.
  • Comfortable and confident in live interactions, bringing warmth alongside clinical guidance.
  • Strong, clear writing ability. We'll ask to see writing samples or existing published content as part of the process.
  • Comfortable holding a firm, well-practiced line between informing a family and making a clinical decision for them — our families' own physicians remain the ones who make the call on things like reintroduction timing.

Nice to Have

  • Board Certified Specialist in Pediatric Nutrition (CSP) credential.
  • Existing social media presence or content portfolio in the nutrition, parenting, or allergy space.
  • Experience with telehealth or remote patient/client consultation.
  • Familiarity with milk ladder protocols and the broader CMPA reintroduction literature.

More Details

  • Approximately 20 hours per week.
  • Fully remote — open to candidates across the US.
  • Candidates must have current work authorization to work in the United States; we are unable to sponsor visas for this role.

How to Apply

Please send a resume, a brief note on your experience with CMPA families specifically (clinical and/or personal), and 1–2 writing or content samples if available to hello@harmonybabynutrition.com. We read every application personally.
