Legal Specialist / Senior Legal Specialist (Commercial)

At Factorial we're looking for a new Legal Specialist to help us boost the company to the next level.
To achieve this, our Legal team operates as a strategic engine. We believe that a world-class legal department in 2026 must live at the intersection of law, data, and automation.
This position is open to both Legal Specialist and Senior Legal Specialist levels. The final title and responsibilities will be calibrated based on your specific experience, technical depth, and proven track record.

The Role 🚀

Sitting within the Finance & Legal team and reporting to the Legal Manager, you will be the bridge between Factorial’s commercial ambitions and their legal execution.

• Strategic Negotiation: Draft, review, and negotiate commercial terms and agreements with partners, clients, providers and other stakeholders. You don’t just mitigate risk; you find the "yes" that protects the company.

• Business Partnership: Work closely with internal teams to translate complex legal concerns into actions.

• AI Practice: You are expected to use frontier AI models (Wordsmith, Gemini, Claude) daily to analyze contracts, summarize complex regulations, and draft precisely. You view AI as an extension of your own expertise and stay at the forefront of the evolving regulatory landscape, including the EU AI Act and the EU Data Act, to ensure our commercial operations remain both innovative and compliant

• Continuous Evolution: : Periodically revise and update the company’s legal templates to ensure they remain lean, scalable, and meticulously updated to current market standards.

Your Profile 👀

• Law Degree and Specialized Master’s. It is expected that candidates have at least 2 to 5 years of PQE in a law firm or as in-house counsel, preferably within the SaaS or technology sector.

• Based in or willing to relocate to the Barcelona area.

• Native-level Spanish and professional English are mandatory. Professional fluency in German, Italian, or French is a significant advantage.

• You are exceptionally detail-oriented. You understand that in legal commercial roles, the difference between a successful partnership and a liability lies in the fine print.

• You follow the trajectory of LLMs and are comfortable experimenting with AI tools as part of your daily workflow to increase both speed and accuracy.

• You thrive in a high-growth environment, interacting directly with Partners, Sales teams and end-clients. You know how to detect liabilities without stalling the deal.

• You are a team player who can translate bureaucracy into action. You prioritize effectively and maintain high standards of quality under pressure.
