We are seeking an experienced Tender / Bid Specialist to join our team, with a dedicated focus on the German market,

The Role

The position is primarily based in our Barcelona office, with the option of a hybrid setup from Munich, Germany. In this individual contributor role, you will take ownership of complex tender and bid processes for Germany, working cross-functionally to support strategic commercial opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Tender & Bid Ownership (Germany)

  • Own and coordinate end-to-end tender and bid processes for the German market, from opportunity qualification to final submission.

  • Contribute to bid/no-bid decisions, risk assessments, and planning in close collaboration with cross-functional internal teams and Partners

  • Ensure full compliance with tender requirements, contractual conditions, local regulatory requirements, and internal governance standards.

  • Act as the main point of contact for all Germany-related bid activities, ensuring quality, consistency, and timely delivery.

Strategic & Commercial Contribution

  • Work closely with the various sales teams in the German market and transversally with Factorial teams such as Product, Legal, and Finance to support complex commercial opportunities.

  • Contribute to bid strategies aligned with German procurement practices and customer expectations.

  • Support the development of tailored value propositions for key accounts and strategic deals.

  • Analyse bid outcomes and customer feedback to identify improvement opportunities.

Content Leadership & Quality Control

  • Draft, review, and finalise bid content in German and English, ensuring executive-level quality.

  • Ensure clarity, consistency, and accuracy across all tender documentation.

  • Maintain and continuously improve the bid library, templates, and standard responses relevant to the German market.

Stakeholder & Client Interaction

  • Act as a trusted partner for Sales, Legal, Finance, Product, GTM (go to market) and Operations throughout the bid lifecycle.

  • Participate in customer clarification phases, Q&A processes, and pre-tender meetings where appropriate.

  • Proactively coordinate with stakeholders to secure timely and high-quality inputs.

What we are looking for

  • 2+ years of experience in tenders, bids, or proposal management focused on the German market.

  • Experience coordinating complex or time-sensitive commercial deals, ideally within a SaaS or tech environment.

  • Familiarity with German procurement processes is a strong plus.

  • Comfortable collaborating closely with Sales and other cross-functional teams.

  • Proficient in German and English (written and spoken); Spanish is a plus.

  • Experience using CRM or deal management tools such as HubSpot, DealHub, or similar platforms.

  • Comfortable working with Google Workspace or equivalent tools.

  • Strong ownership, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

  • Analytical mindset with solid problem-solving skills.

  • Confident communicator, able to work independently while collaborating effectively with different stakeholders.
