About us
We are a fast-growing team on a mission to reimagine the analytical workflow and make data accessible to all.
The Count canvas combines the power of a data notebook with the collaborative workflow of digital whiteboards. We’re often referred to as the “Figma for data” because of the way Count transforms the way data teams work and communicate with the wider business through greater transparency and trust.
We launched in September 2022 and have seen the canvas concept explode with over 28k canvases created to date and some of Europe’s best startups such as Cleo, BeautyPie, TooGoodToGo and Omnipresent join us as customers.
We’re now looking for passionate, creative people to help us shape the direction of the business and help us grow!
What you'll do
This is a role for an exceptional product analyst who would like to make a move into product management. As our first dedicated product hire you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our product roadmap and helping our users maximise their value of Count.
Your responsibilities will include:
Product analytics: You’ll create and maintain a full suite of analytics on how our product is used, identifying patterns of behaviour for opportunities to improve our user’s workflow.
Testing: You’ll be supporting the product development cycle through all stages, testing ideas and concepts with users, providing input (and data) into the design of new features and being the first to put them through their paces ahead of launch.
Documentation: Writing and maintaining our product documentation, keeping them comprehensive and clear.
Examples and best practice: Creating a suite of example canvases, templates and training tutorials that help and inspire our users to do their best work in Count.
Product launches: Work with our engineering, marketing and customer success teams to launch new product features and take ownership for launching these features to our user community.
User onboarding: You’ll help us optimise our user onboarding journey and own all user communication (new and existing).
Bugs and features: Maintaining our product roadmap and bugs backlog and keeping our users and team up-to-date on progress.
We'd love to hear from you if you:
Have excellent interpersonal skills, with a knack for building rapport with people
Are or have been a senior product analyst with excellent analytical skills with SQL (and python too as a bonus).
Have previous experience or exposure to product management (helpful but not essential).
Have strong written and oral communication skills and a good eye for design.
A natural team player who can work effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and engineering.
A high level of self-motivation and resilience and a desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced startup environment.
Our interview process will cover:
An initial conversation so you can ask any questions you have about Count and we can learn more about your experience and interests
A working session with our CEO and Head of Customer Success
A final meeting with our CTO and some of our developers
The working session and final meeting will take place either virtually or in London, depending on where you're based.
During the first two months, you can expect to undergo a comprehensive training program to familiarize yourself with the Count platform, how we manage and build our product, and meet some of our customers.
