About Harmony

Harmony is an early-stage biotech startup using precision fermentation and formulation science

to disrupt the baby formula market with human breast milk proteins. We are on the cusp of

launching our first product and growing fast. Our mission sits at the intersection of infant health

and cutting-edge biology, and we believe the industry is long overdue for this kind of innovation.

We are a small, ambitious team and this hire is a key part of how we scale. You will work

directly with the founder, own a wide remit, and grow with the company as we move from

startup to commercialisation.

The Role

We are looking for a sharp, execution-oriented generalist to serve as the founder's right hand

across finance, investor relations, fundraising, and operations. This is not a narrowly scoped

position, but it has a clear center of gravity: you will own the financial and commercial

infrastructure of a company that is about to launch its first product.

The role suits someone who is equally comfortable building a financial model, preparing board

materials, and keeping operations running without being asked twice. You move fast, take

ownership, and find the answer before anyone notices there was a question.

What You Will Own

• Build and maintain financial models and forecasts that inform strategic decisions, and

own financial reporting across monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles.

• Manage investor relations end-to-end, including quarterly updates, board meeting

preparation, cap table management, and responses to investor and audit queries.

• Coordinate legal and commercial matters, including contracts and financing documents,

working alongside external counsel.

• Keep core operations running, covering HR compliance, payroll, project management,

and the day-to-day infrastructure that keeps a fast-moving team on track.

What We Are Looking For

• 3 to 6 years of experience in operations, finance, or a generalist role at a startup or high-

growth company

• Strong financial acumen, including the ability to build and own models, not just maintain

them

• Comfort with investor-facing work, from drafting updates to managing data room

requests and cap table• Enough legal and commercial literacy to coordinate contracts and flag issues without

needing hand-holding

• Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to context-switch across functions without

dropping the ball

• A bias for action and genuine resourcefulness, you figure things out

• Prior experience in a startup environment is strongly preferred

What We Offer

• Salary of $100,000 to $110,000, commensurate with experience

• Equity (ESOP) in a company at an inflection point

• Direct access to the founder and full visibility into how a biotech startup is built and

scaled

• A front-row seat to the commercialisation of a genuinely novel product

• Flexible, remote-friendly work environment
